STAR FERRY

Shuttling between Tsim Sha Tsui and Central and Wan Chai, the 10-minute boat rides will amaze you with limited budget. The journey goes from shore to shore, and it’s one of the cheapest ways to travel between Tsim Sha Tsui and Central or Wan Chai. Remember to record the views of Hong Kong’s skyline.

Tip: Take the ride around 8 p.m and enjoy the light show.

Horseracing is getting incredibly popular in Hong Kong.  The race season is usually around  July to September. People love to have an ice-cold beer and bet on their luck. As for me, I will set up a limited budget to legal gambling around 100 USD. If I lose, I will take it as a donation.

Repulse Bay

It is the high point in Hong Kong and that’s why it offers the best panoramic views of the city –  from the skyscrapers to the mountains in the New Territories.

Access: By taking peak Tram, it will take you up to 1,300 feet above sea level. Heading to the viewing platforms at the anvil-shaped Peak Tower guarantees the best view for the photographers. By taking a hike, take a round around the 3.5km Peak Circle Walk and the results will pay off.

The University of Hong Kong <HKU as students >

The University of Hong Kong was founded in 1911. It’s hong kong’s oldest university and it happens to be the oldest museum in Hong Kong. The uni is built-in colonial-style and it does a popular photo spot for newlyweds here. If you are fond of contemporary art, this is the place for you.

This is about 25 miles from the skyscrapers of Victoria Harbour. It’s home to the Tanka people and they  built their homes on stilts in the waters just off Lantau Island. They make a living by selling dried seafood and traditional Chinese snacks. They also offer boat tours through the narrow waterways of the village to the tourists.  You have the chance to spot a pink dolphin if you’re lucky enough. who have built their homes on stilts
